My friend grows amazing organic hydroponic butter lettuce here in San Diego, and I visited his farm to get some insight on setting up my own hydroponic system. Needless to say, he has his system dialed in to a tee. He consistently grows kale, romaine, butter lettuce, arugula, tatsoi, and basil to sell at local farmers’ markets.
