chimichurri
I recently had this sauce at an Argentinian restaurant in LA, and I had to replicate it. You can put this sauce on anything and it will be good.
Recipe:
- 1/2 cup really good olive oil
- handful of parsley
- juice of one lime
- 2 garlic gloves
- 1 dried pepper
Process:
- grind up pepper in pestle and mortar
- mince garlic and parsley really fine
- add parsley, garlic, and lime to pestle and mortar and grind into paste
- add olive oil and grind some more
